A lot of websites are tracking your behaviour online. It is hard to hide your browsing history, so maybe it is smart to make it incoherent and therefore unusable to target you instead. Screen Surfer is a Chrome extension that detects when you have not been browsing for a while. At that point it starts to automatically browse for you by randomly clicking links. In doing so it fills up the gaps in your browsing history with incoherent behaviour. Since it is only surfing when you are inactive and since it fades between pages it can be seen as a functional screen saver.
